Hi all, thought I'd share my experiences with my Rekord 120 aquarium with you all Smile

After some inspiration looking at ro0bi's planted tank I decided to try my own, the first aquascape was ok (see ro0bi's tank diary for pics) but I wasnt really happy with it so I decided to re-plant it, its been running for 2 weeks now.

Overall Im very happy with it and thankyou to ro0bi for all the advice

cheers

lighting is one T5 tube with a reflector running on a timer at 8 hours aday.
theres also a home made CO2 system using yeast and sugar that is running very well, needs a refill at the mo as the bubble count has slowed right down, might need to experiment with various proportions of yeast and sugar to get the most out of it.
Filtration is from the standard Rekord filter and have also added a small external Fluval 203 canister filter.
heating is a 150w heater combined thermostat at a constant 25 Celsius.
daily I add 2ml of Easy Carbo and once a week I dose with eSHa Pro-Phyll plant food
Im going to add a custom LED lighting system to it over the next few weeks that a friend has built for me to improve the lighting cheers

here are a few more pics, hopefully I get some more later to show the new plant growth which Im very happy with Smile

Looking great now, is it Lillopolis Brasiliensis on the front?
I can spare you some glossia and micromoides if you want some. What is the plant next to the bogwood on the left side of the tank? (the thin, green about 10-15 cm high).

Hi ro0bi, the plant is Potamogeton gayi, I won it on ebay, thought it would be bigger than when it came Rolling Eyes but it seems to have taken and is starting to grow a bit, seems very delicate Razz

the plant in the front looks like Lillopolis Brasiliensis but was told on the ebay listing it was Nova Zealander Lilaeopsis

some cuttings of glossia and micromoides would be great cheers once mine have all established better I can supply you some back Very Happy
